About Me - Reggie McLeroy

Hi, my name is Reggie McLeroy, a freelance from Ruston, Louisiana. While in the second grade, I discovered and exploited my God-given talent for drawing. With this talent, I've won many awards as being the best in my age group while in elementary, junior high school and high school.

Since those early years, I've created many commissioned montages and portraits for individual clients and produced over 30 different wildlife prints done in pencil, pen/ink and watercolor. I've also won prestigious awards such as the Louisiana Wildlife Stamp, Louisiana Duck Stamp, the Texas Turkey Stamp, the Canadian Conservation Stamp and was also chosen as the official artist of the 2004 U.S. Ryder Cup Team.

I am extremely passionate about my work and I take great pride in my drawings and pay close attention to detail. I produce high-end one-of-a-kind portraits that my clients can treasure for many years to come. My portraits are all traditionally hand-drawn using graphite pencils and charcoal. I use photographs to draw from, and I ask my clients to provide a selection of sharp photos so that I can generate a true likeness with the finished portrait.

Within the last few years, I've also incorporated photography as part of my freelance business. I specialize in taking high definition sports photos and senior portraits. I use the fastest Canon cameras and lens to produce the best action photos possible. Shooting 14 frames per second enables me to capture the exact moment of impact and produce spectacular results for you.

I accept commissions for all over the world so feel free to view some examples of my artwork and photographs. If you're interested in my work, please contact me and let's talk about me rendering an original commissioned piece for you.

I truly believe that everybody is put on this earth for a purpose, and I give thanks to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for allowing me to utilize the talent that He has given me.
